GOD’S PLAN ！
Now you have to get the evangelium of Jesus the Lord. .
In the Bible the fate of mankind and the prophecy of world change are disclosed.
This disclousure is called God’s plan for all generations. It is sure that to understand this plan is the easiest way to look at an overview of Christianity and also to have a plain outlook on human life as well as a clear cosmic outlook.
Yet the world change continues within the plan of God. If the future should develop as God’s plan would predict then . . . how miserable the end of the world will be and how fragile human fate is !
So, having acknowledged the Jesus Christ swiftly with faith, we shall find the path of God’s plan and change the fate of mankind, slipping out of the darkness to the world of brilliant light to make conversion of our fate. Let us begin our living filled with heavenly peace and vigorous life in the full joy of radiance and hope.
１．The Creation of Heaven and Earth
When we open the Bible to the first book (Genesis), chapter one verse one that telles us the following :
“In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth.”
It goes on to say, in six days God created all the things in the universe and on the sixth day He created man. By reading these words we can discover what the true God is . . . .
２． The True God
2-1 The Creator of Heaven and earth
2-2 The Father of man
The Bible also tells us that :
2-3 There is none other than this God, the true God is “unique”.
3. The Human Being
Given that a man was formed from the dust of the earth and was placed in the garden of Eden with authority to rule over all created things, why is man considered so valuable and honorable. It is said, “for what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul” (Mark 8:36) meaning that if a man does not receive God’s salvation then all that he has done is for nothing. As you see;
Man has been made in God’s image and has the image of God. (Genesis 1:26,27)
God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7). So the reason that man is different is that he has a vivid soul within himself.
It is for this reason that, just as man cannot live by bread alone, man also cannot live without God.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16)
4. Lucifer, Satan
Genesis Chapter three describes how Satan slipped into the garden of Eden to tempt the original ancestry, Adam and Eve, to sin.
What is Satan ?
He is the evil spirit who acted contrary to God and was exiled from Heaven to come into this world and have authority over the sky and the earth. Even now he remains the head of evil spirits and the source of destruction and calamity in the world.
The whole household of Satan is, however, destined to eternal punishment; to be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone on the last judgement day.
5. Man’s Fate
Adam and Eve had commited sin as a result of Lucifer’s bequilment and were therefore made to taste death and punishment, for it is written that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23) and “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement”(Hebrews 9:27).
Since Adam’s mistake the whole human race has living their lives subjected to the bondage of death (Hebrews 2:15). Man’s fate being just as Adam’s fate as it is said that “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10) and “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
What does death mean ?
It is the separation of the human spirit from the physical body.
After death man’s physical body will turn into earthly material but the spirit will descend to Hell untill the day of doom when it will receive judgement.
On the Day of Judgement (Revelation Ch. 20) every person who experienced life on the earth will be resurected in the flesh to present himself at the seat of Judgement to be tried by God.
Whoever’s name is not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire where Satan has already been thrown.
This is called Gehenna, everlasting judgement, and is also called the second death.
It is everlasting separation from God and abandonment by God for ever.
What does sin imply ?
Sin is unlawful action.
It is to break God’s commandment (1 John 3:4).
Adam broke God’s commandment, “But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:17),
when he ate its fruit.
Then sin entered the world, and through sin death, and thus death pervaded the whole human race.
9. The Prophecy of the Advent
But the light of salvation has shone upon them in the land of the shadow of death.
What does that passage mean ?
It is the foretelling of the Advent; the Redeemer’s coming.
When Adam had fallen God immediately declared the appearance of the Savior (Genesis 3:15).
Without examining each passage one should note that all of these are not abstract but concrete.
For example, it was written that the Savior would not be born suddenly from heaven but, “as a fruit of the woom of a femail”,
also since it was unknown whether the woman would be married or unmarried the prophecies say, ” behold, a vergin shall conceive, and bear a son.”
It was not known of what family the Virgin would come;
so it is written that she will be of “David’s seed”,
and also the place where the Savior will be born is given;
out of Bethlehem shall he come forth.”
10. Jesus Christ
In accordance with the propheceis of the Scriptures a man came forth into this world whose name is Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary.
Jesus shows itself to be the name of the true God
and the word ‘Christ’ means the Savior.
Surely this Jesus is the true God.
As invisible he is, manifests himself to be the visible One that is Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:20)
It is the divine mystery that sole God became the man. (1 Tim. 3:16, John 1:1～14, Heb. 1:3, Col. 1:19, 2:9)
The Lord Jesus himself proclaimed; thus saying: “‘before Abraham was, I am’, ‘I and my Father are one’, ‘ if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father are one’, ‘ if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.’, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father’ ” (John 8:58, 10:30,14:7,9)
The fact that the Lord Jesus is the true God can also be attested to by the following seven points:
10-1 He was born in accordance with the Scriptures and lived his whole life as the prophecies foretold
10-2 He was born of the Virgin Mary.
10-3 The whole of his life was holy and sinless.
10-4 If he was not the true God he would not perform any mighty miracles that he had done; for example, giving sight to the blind, cleansing leprosy, bringing the dead to life, etc.
10-5 He died on the cross and was buried but on the third day he was raised to life from the dead in the new body.
10-6 On the fortieth day after his Resurrection Jesus showed his own Ascention.
10-7 From ancient times to now our Lord Jesus is the same.
He gives the Holy Spirit by saving all those who have faith in him and works to cure their diseases.
He gives consolation to all who are sorrowful, strengthens the weak, gratifies the poor and always listens to prayers in reply.
11 The Death on the Cross
The man in the street may ask this question:
why did God have to become a man who would work miracles on the earth only to be finally nailed up cruelly on the cross ?
In fact many prophecies in the Bible explain in detail how “Christ shall die an expiatory death for all people”.
This expiation is the forgiveness of sins and if it didn’t exist the life of perfect salvation could not exist.
What does it take to forgive sins ? . . .
” the wages of sin is death ” ( Romans 6:23 ),
” And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission ” ( Hebrews 9:22 ).
A man cannot save another man if he himself is a sinner needing to be saved and therefore God proclaimed that, ” I even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no Savior ” ( Isaiah 43:11 ).
Also, since God is spirit, how would it be possible for him ( having no flesh and blood ) to atone by his own death the curse of our sins.
This is why God became a man in flesh and blood, bringing these prophecies to life, as Jesus Christ.
Therefore in the Scriputures Jesus is called the son of man and is also called the son of God; He was born by the virgin Mary who had conceived him by the Holy Spirit.
You see there really aren’t three different entitles, not three Gods ( God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit ) but in fact the Lord Jesus himself is the sole God.
The Lord Jesus will perform his role as redeemer and son of God until the coming of the next age, at which time, ” there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain” ( Revelation 21:3,4 ). Being sole God the Lord Jesus is described in the Bible as he will be when he comes again: ” the throne of God and of the Lamb “( Revelation 22:3 ), ” from God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ,” (1 Thessalonians 1:1 ) and in 1 Timothy 2:5 as, ” For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man, Christ Jesus”, in the capacity of the Father ( God ) and of the Son ( Redeemer ).
Verses three and four say, ” For this is good and accepttable in the sight of God, our Savior, who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”. God desires that we may know the Mediator, man Christ Jesus is the sole God.
” the Redeemer is one ” ” God the Father of all is one ” ( Epesians 4:5, 6 )
So God tells us that we should realize ” The Lord our God is one Lord “. ( Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29 ).
God truly was revealed in human form to offer himself on the cross for the forgiveness of all human sins, shedding his blood as a covenant with us that He realized to enter the Holy of holies of Heaven and there obtains, for us, eternal redemption ( Hebrews 9:12, 20).
This cannot be obtained with human blood but only with the blood of the true God; ” he hath purchased with his own blood ” ( Acts 20:28 ).
With this God has given, completely and perfectly, the remission of sins for giving the Holy Spirit to all who have faith in the Lord Jesus.
12. The Second Advent
It is certain that the Lord Jesus who has ascended into Heaven will come again into this world in the Second Advent ( Acts 1: 11 ).
This has two meanings. One of these is called “appearance in the air” or “lift acceptance” and the other is “earthly appearance”.
13. The Lift ( The rapture)
At that time when the Lord comes in the air people on earth will witness the dead in Christ rising first and those of us who are left alive changing to spiritual bodies and following the others up into the sky and, gathered with his hosts, we shall thereafter remain with the Lord.
Christ redemption works to save both flesh and spirit.
In the lift our natural bodies are lifted up as spiritual bodies to be immortal ( 1 Thesalonians 4:13～18, 1 Corinthians 15:52～57 ).
The organized body of saints who have been anointed with the Spirit of Christ and baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus is called ‘the Ecclesia’ of Christ’s Body ( 1 Corinthians 12:12,13 ).
If one uses the analogy of human body for the relationship between Christ and church it is as if Christ is the head of the church and the church is His body.
Alternatively if we compare this relationship to married couple Christ is like the bridegroom and the church is His bride. ( Ephesians 1:22,23; 5:31,32 )
When the Lord’s appearance actually happens in the air, having been chosen beforehand, it’s certain that this church will be lifted up as His bride.
14. Earthly Appearance
When the Lord Jesus Christ comes into his authority over heaven and earth with all his glory, and all the holy angels with him, sitting at the right hand of the Almighty in a heavenly cloud, on earth He shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed ( Daiel 2:44, Matthew 24:30, 26:64, Zechariah 14:4 ).
In the beginning to establish the kingdom of God the following things will happen:
A: The convertion of the Israelite ( Jewish ) race will take place ( Zecharia 13:26 ) in which their ungodliness will be removed ( Romans 11:26 ) and the Israelite Empire will be restored in one day ( Isaiah 66:8 ).
B: Next God will judge all nations ( Matthew 25:31～46 ).
C: All Satan will be captured and bound and the wicked will be purged ( Revelation 20:1～3 ).
15. The Thousand Year Kingdom (The millennium)
The Lord Jesus Christ will manifest the kingdom of God to govern the whole earth with his peace and righteousness.
This is called the thousand year kingdom (The millennium ) since He will govern for a thousand years.
During this period all things will be restored; ” The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them ” ( Isaiah 11:6～9 ), they shall not hurt or destroy anything on the earth and truly this will be the best of all possible worlds.
The lifted Ecclesia will reign as kings and priests ( during the thousand years ) on the earth ( Revelation 5:10 ).
16. The Period of Great Tribulation
The Bible has predicted, in Daniel 9:27, the coming of a period of great triblation which will last “one week”.
The characteristics of that time have been described in detail in Revelation chapters 6～19.
The Lord Jesus has prophecied that those days will be in great distress the likes of which haven’t been seen since the beginning of the earth itself. It will be so terrible that no flesh would be saved if that period were to last for very long. It will truly be God’s judgement of the world.
In the exact middle of “that one week” Satan, having had his authority in heaven, shall be cast down to the earth and there will be pandemonium beyond anything ever experienced before ( Daniel 9:27, 2 Thessalonians 2:3～10 ).
When will all this take place ? It will begin when the chosen are taken up into heaven and end with the earthly appearance of the Lord Jesus ( Revelation chapter 6～19 ).
17. The Last Judgement
After the end of the thousand year kingdom Satan will be released from the bottomless pit for a little while to deceive the people on earth.
This is God’s time to try the nations of earth
and those who have no allegiance will be consumed by the fire which comes down from heaven.
The devil will be thrown into the lake of fire and condemned to everlasting punishment.
Then His great white throne of Judgement will appear
and all who have had lives on earth will be given up to be judged according to what they have done.
Death, hell and all the living who are not found on the list of the book of life will, therefore, be cast into the lake of fire ( Gehenna )
This is the second death, everlasting punishment, and thenceforth the great judgement will be finished.
18. The New Heaven and a New Earth
Behold, as the heavens and the earth are consumed with fire ( 2 Peter 3:8～ 13 ) and,
” I make all things new ” ( Revelation 21:3～5 ).
The new heaven and a new earth will appear, God will dwell with the people and they shall be his people.
Death and grief will be no more and the kingdom will be filled with joy, peace and righteousness for ever afterwards.
We don’t know where our lives came from nor where they are headed……
Thank you for reading.
